Confirm the phone still switches on and that the damage is the glass or display, not water inside the frame. Note whether Face ID works before the repair. Ask which part will be fitted and what warranty applies to that part. A quoted time is an estimate unless the job card says otherwise.

Keep the phone off iCloud lock so the technician can test the display. Collect the old part if you want to see it.
