How to identify your MacBook A-number

Where to read the MacBook model number before you order a screen or battery.

Turn the MacBook over. The A-number is printed in small type, in the form A2442 or similar. You can also open About This Mac and match the model name, then confirm the underside number before buying a display.

Inauzwa model pages only describe an A-number when that record is verified. If the page is missing, send the number on WhatsApp instead of guessing a screen size.
